Dishub Prepares 10 Vessels as Idul Fitri Transports

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s Water Transport Management Unit (UP AP) has prepared 10 units of vessels to serve travelers who take mudik exodus.
Currently, all vessels are undergoing a feasibility check or ramp check
The vessels with a 30-50 people capacity will serve passengers from Muara Angke Port to Seribu Islands or vice versa.
Jakarta Dishub's UP AP Service Executing Unit Head, Wahyu Wijayanto said the 10 vessels were prepared to anticipate the influx of mudik and tourists visiting the Seribu Islands ahead of Idul Fitri.

"Currently, all vessels are undergoing a feasibility check or ramp check. Inspections are carried out by Muara Angke KSOP officers," he expressed, Tuesday (4/11).
According to him, it was done to ensure that all vessels departing from Mara Angke Port were in good condition. Until now, his party still serves three waterways with one vessel each operating.
The three routes prepared include route one from Muara Angke to Tidung Island; route two from Muara Angke to Untung Jawa Island - Pari Island - Panggang Island and Pramuka Island and route three from Muara Angke to Kelapa Island and Sebira Island.
"We hope that just before Idul Fitri, we can operate two vessels on each route. However, we still have to look at the field situation and weather conditions too," he explained.
Muara Angke Port Head, Ahmad Gozali uttered his party would prepare homecoming posts starting from D-7 to H+7 of Idul Fitri.
"Like the previous year, there are health posts to three-pillar joint posts. The surge in passengers may occur from D-1 to D+5," he explained.
Currently, the vessels at Muara Angke Port are almost sufficient, with 21 units of traditional vessels and 10 units of Transportation Agency vessels.
"Purchasing vessel tickets is the same as before. Dishub vessels use the JacketBoat application. Meanwhile, traditional vessels can still purchase tickets directly," he stated.
